You lucky so'n'so!! Talk about sheer unadulterated LUCK!!!! How cool it is to be sure! I only get to a comic shop once a month! I'm imprisoned in a small town with NO comic shops at all!!! Once a month I go to visit a friend near Toronto and then I have to hope that they have Usagi in stock! And trying to find back issues is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!!!{although, who would want to search a haystack is beyond me.}AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!! But, what can ya do,eh?{boy...did that sound Canadian,eh.} We can but percevier. :{

Bastard!

That issue should have the "Goblin of Adachigahara" story in it. If you have the first TPB then you have already read it.

i talked to the guy that aquired that coic today & he said that he wasa t a convention & they were giving them away some time ago & stan was there & he autographed it for him he said that over the course of 3 years the price for it in the store dropped cuz he was hopeing to get rid of it but he finally did i guess :wink: but anyway i told him how much a comic of this magnitude goes for on ebay & he was shocked & was awefully congradulatory (he is a very honest guy & didnt want to try to get it back from me cuz he know how hard it is for me to find usagi stuff around here !!!!!!
i wish i lived in the 17th century so i could have been a samurai!!!!!!!!

This is definitely one for the Untold Tales of Albedo NR 2... if Stan was giving them away, it must have been way back in 1985 when Stan and Steve Gallacci were first publishing Albedo. That was just before the b&w boom, and, according to Stan, selling the comics was a challenge... they even found it difficult to GIVE them away!

Ah, the joys of 16th century life.

No running hot water tabs. No hygenic toilets. No medical system. No globals wars. No computers. No television.

Sounds like paradise ;-)

by the way... In the Usagi department... comic shops don't help very much. I've got about seven or more comic shops where I live, and not ONE of them can get me ANYTHING Usagi, save the darkhorse GNs and the darkhorse current issues. No figurines, no shirts, no caps, no albedo 2, no cards, no merchandise, no NOTHING!!! I have to order EVERYTHING online. ALL OF IT!! Bah! At any rate... FIVE DOLLARS!!

Mmmmm... Albedo #2... for 5 bucks.... about 10,000 kilometers away from where I live... Dammit! Why didn't I go there before you did!? I could have gotten it first... ;)

Will I ever see Albedo #2 in Spain? Probably my good ol' friend Fox Mulder wouldn't even know... :( . Will I ever be able to afford to buy one? That seems even more unlikely... :cry:

Oh well, I can always read the TPBs :) .
