I ran across an "art card" on eBay thats supposedly signed by Stan Sakai and was given out at the San Diego ComicCon. Does anyone know anything about it, is it authentic?

Dark Horse playing cards.
Dear Readers,
The card is from a Dark Horse mini deck
available at the last San Diego Comicon.
I have seen them on eBay for around 5$ a deck.
Looks like the opportunistic seller had Sensei Sakai sign a few.
Looks also like Stan used his quick signature.
Best wishes to all!
go
ps I think "empire auctions" is also "gopromoman" who sells a lot of this kind of stuff on eBay.

It's from a mini-deck, about 1.5 x 2 inches. Dark Horse gave them out at the 2005 SD Comic-con. Each card had a picture of a DH character from Darth Vader to Little Lulu to Hell Boy. Publisher Mike Richardson was the Joker.
I'm sure I have a few sets around. If I find them, I'll bring some to San Diego. I'll reserve one for Shogun Todd, and the rest are first come first served to Dojo members.

There you go, making fun of me again...estee wrote:I think its just the one card. It was part of some DH promotion. It is neat though.
Steve should buy it any second now...

I thought about getting a set when I first heard about them, but since the artwork was not original (recycled by Dark Horse from book covers) for the Usagi card and the Groo card, I decided not to.
A whole deck of Usagi Cards would be awesome...

Abayo....
