Theories on upcoming UY volumes

Post by Ben »

Just something to chat about until the Dojo becomes a little more active.

I'm guessing volume 21 will contain the entire "Treasure of the Mother Mountains" story arc (#83-#89), followed by #90-93 in order to end the volume on a more conclusive note. I think we can safely expect vol. 21 to be an awfully fat book.

Volume 22 would probably cover UY from #94 to #100. Seeing as how the hundredth issue will be huge (32 pages and all), we can predict vol. 22 to be a pretty heavy tome as well.

Whattdya think? Pretty accurate assumptions?

Volume 21 will, I think, contain the complete "Teasure of the Sierra Madre" story, along with some shorter stories like "Cooking Lesson" possibly.

Volume 22 will, I think, contain issues 90 - 94 which includes the stories "Ghost in the Well" (both parts), "The Thief and the Lotus Scroll", "Chanoyu", and "Remnants of the Dead". I believe Stan has mentioned that Book 22 will also contain "Tomoe's Story" (Fantagraphics UY Color Special #1), "The Doors" (Fantagraphics UY Color Special #2), Fox Fire (Fantagraphics UY Color Special #2).

It will be the first time these three stories have been collected in book format, and they will most likely be reprinted in b/w.

Sierra Madre? I don't recall Noriko saying anything like "We don't need no stiiiiinking ronin!"

But wasn't "Cooking Lesson" published in vol. 20?
