Today's installment of Penny Arcade is a tribute to Stan. It features the Card Tube Samurai (CTS) character Tycho and Gabe created. The first panel of the comic is definitely paying homage to a similar scene with Nakamura Koji.
Gabe, Penny Arcade's artist, mentions a little about his art career and what keeps him going as a web-comic creator in the news post where he sites Stan as the influence for today’s strip.
