I collected USAGI since highschool...and then found interest in other things, college, girls, etc. I still finished off Groo though while I was in college...and stopped purchasing USAGI mainly, I guess because it wasn't available at some of the comic shops in the areas that I had lived.
Eventually, I assumed Usagi was discontinued...because, face it, people move on...things change, etc.
Then I decided "Let's see what happens if I google "Usagi Yojimbo" (without the quotes.
And this site comes up, and the comic is STILL going strong! Been about 11 years since I even really gave the comic book much thought. lol
I remember the good ol days. I think I was in a Japanese phase ever since I watched the Richard Chamberlain series, "ShoGun".
I remember the part of that movie where they where, I suppose they were rationalizing beheading people by saying "Death is just the same thing as life" or something to that effect.
I have an arguement for that now, "Yes, but you did not give that person life, so thus you cannot take it away."
OH STAN.......remember back in the day you had that fancy hardbound "Dragon Bellow Conspiracy" graphic novel? You still have those around or are they long gone?
Congrats on the great work, Stan.
