Could someone please tell me where I can find out when the UY con. is coming to AZ. Also when I go what are essential items I should bring back. I'm kind of new here

Not sure what you mean by UY Con, but if there was one I'd want to go!!! FIrst off do you know of any Comic Cons in AZ that Stan could be invited to as Guest of Honor?

Could be a chonin-gasa, ronin-gasa, or takuhatsu-gasa. Depends on precise shape, and (since I'm almost as far from fluent in Japanese as I am from Japan) likely who's wearing it. all good for keeping the sun off, tho'.

They're made like baskets (by which terse response I reveal I don't really know the details)

Just keep following up with upcoming Stan appearances on the website. If there are UY event in CA, come on over.

I would bring sketch paper and a camera.

Stan is very grateful for his fans. If there's not a huge crowd around him, politely ask him to make a personal drawing.

I still have my first Stan Sakai sketch.
