the new TMNT movie was great and pretty much compensated the awfully made third movie in the live action film trilogy.
on a side note, i was discussing this over with my boss in Hong Kong and convinced him to re-release the live action TMNT movies to coincide with the new film. although the new hong kong dvd re-release will not be remastered as i hoped it to be, it's a relief that Fortune Star and Joy Sales (the company i work for) was able to release this on time in honour of the release of the new TMNT movie. these dvd's are region 0 so they can played on all north american dvd players. there is english and cantonese audio tracks in both TMNT 1 and 2. none of this would have happened if I didn't give it a mention to my boss last month. as with all the other Fortune Star "Legendary Collection" dvd releases, TMNT 1 and 2 will cost around $10 Canadian dollars.

On Thursday night I went and saw the TMNT movie with my wife. She had absolutely no interest but went anyway because she knew I wanted to see it. Her favourite character was Spliter btw.
I really enjoyed it. I am surprised by how little Donatello did though.
The rest of the turtles were great and the movie was fantastic.
Is it just me or am I the only one who likes the third movie more than the second one?

Usagi was to have made a "guest appearance" as a wall hanging in that third movie. It was hung on a wall in a fight in the castle corridor. However, you can't really see the image from the angle that it was shot.MikeM wrote:

The hanging currently hangs in the stairwell at Mirage Studios.

hey, i'm new here and was just browsing the forums. i know this is an old post but. i think all the turtle movies have been good. of course i'm a die hard turtle fanatic(i have 2 tattoos, one of them is half a page of art from the 1st issue on my forearm, in plain sight where everyone can see.). I thought that the new movie did a great job blending with the new cartoon and creating a new turtle story for everyone to enjoy. I was also disappointed that don didnt do too much, but loved the fact that Raph finally got some respect as a fighter as he stood toe to toe with leo no problem. where as in the new cartoon it always seems like leo is the best fighter and nobody can ever touch him. which makes me mad. anyways, overall, i enjoyed it. hopefully we will get a cgi usagi movie
