I'm surprised you found this photo. I'm even more surprised this photo was online. Here I am--a Japanese American--posing with a couple of Italians and a German in a photo taken by a Spaniard while in France. Truly an international picture.
This was taken one night at the 2006 Angouleme Comics Festival. If you read my travel report of that trip, you might remember that it was cold that year--so cold that it snowed. Hence the picture of the four muffled ninja.
