Great issue!
I like the Boss Bakuchi character as a bad guy. He reminds me of Kingpin in the Spiderman and Daredevil comics.
I like seeing the supernatural power in priest Sanshobo. He's a really cool character. It's neat to see the different personalities in Gen and the Dog character. They interact much differently than Gen and Usagi. Both seem to agree that Gen can be annoying. Good comedy relief for an issue that would've been maybe too heavy without it.

I especially liked the sequence, when Stray Dog examined a dead bounty hunter; Gen's reaction and Stray Dog's remark ("Even I would not steal from the dead!") made me think: did Gen change so much as to find it offensive to steal a dead man's purse or did he want to do it himself if possible?!
