Albedo 2

Post by Arrick »

Hi to everyone,
My wife just surprised me with a copy of Albedo 2 for Xmas. She couldn't hold it because she knows I have been wanting a copy for years. I saw a copy at NYC comiccon this year and didn't even ask the price because I knew I couldn't have afforded it and have talked about missing this opportunity ever since. This issue completes my collection.

I am a history teacher with a minor in Japanese studies who loves old samurai movies, so when I foudn UY and recognized many of my favorite movies and tales from history retold through UY, I loved it.

PS: I have been viewing the board as a guest for awhile now but had to join to share the excitement with people who would understand how awesome owning this comic is.

Welcome to the Dojo Arrick,

What a great gift. How great to complete your collection as well. That's quite a feeling. That was a very thoughtful gift from your wife.

Peace, maka

Thanks for all the kind remarks, I finally put the comic in the box with the rest of my issues and looking at them has caused me to start reading all of them again. This will be my 3rd time. Last time I enjoyed them more than the first. My continuing study of Japanese culture and history has made me appreciate them more each time I read them.
