Eurofurence 16: 1st-5th Sept 2010 Magdeburg/ Germany

Post by TigerRider »

Hello UYDers!

After I found that lovely "teaser trailer" (in english, scroll down to bottom, cute, the puppets!^^),

http://www.eurofurence.org/EF16/hotel.htm

my decision to go there is almost settled. Having the chance to meet Stan in Germany is too good!

My question now is: Who else of you is going there, too?
The thing is, that if you preorder before april it's a bit cheaper. Not that I would have a problem with sharing a room with another random con-visitor, but I'd prefer some dojo-member.

@FanFan
Now, that you've finished with travelling that much, wouldn't it be a fine idea of a short summer-trip to Magdeburg? :wink:

Greetings,
Jens

Sharon and I will be in Berlin before Magdeburg. It is not confirmed, but we will arrive Monday, August 30 afternoon. Tuesday would be a nice time to get together, so some sightseeing and go out for a couple of meals.

We will be going to Magdeburg on Wednesday, September 1.

When was the drawing on the bottom left of this page done? I don't think I've ever seen that one before.

That was drawn in the organizer of the Gijon (Spain) Comics Festival's sketchbook in 2007. Usagi is holding a glass of cider (an apple-based alcoholic drink popular in the area). There is a drawing of organizer Faustino on the glass. Here is a link to my travel report where the drawing was posted:

My ticket for the con is save. :)

In one of their sites you can see the reservations by nations. There are already 70 from the U.S.

So, if anybody from the UYD is looking for a roommate, I left this option open, contact me, if you like.
