Which volume of Usagi should I start with? I heard that the volume featuring the earliest works which were published by Mirage are not as good as the others and that I should start with the volume collecting the first Dark Horse issues? Is this true?
Thanks
Where to start?

I like all of them, however, the drawing has changed through the years, and I find the newest books better drawn (the old books had a strong cartoonish look which was ok, but I like the newer style better). That doesn't mean that the stories aren't good: as a matter of fact, several people have pointed out before that the best bok to start is Book 2 ("Samurai") by Fantagraphics (and I agree with them). Book 1 is the beginning of the series and I really like it, but according to Stan, "Usagi hadn't still reach a mature point", and the drawing is very different.
I hate to be nitpicking, but this question has been answered before a few times. Perhaps we should make a few sticky threads like "Where to start?" and a few others that new people keep asking so they don't have to browse through the whole forum. I'll try to make a "Books" section in the Dojo.
