I have been told that I will be receiving at least a few copies of the Book 24 HC in time for San Diego. I am not sure how many I will be getting. If you want a copy, reserve one now.

Sensei, can you hold a copy of Sketchbook #1 and #7 for me to mail out, or do I need to find someone who can grab them from you in San Diego?

Thanks!

I will hold a few copies of Sketchbook 1 back, so when people order Sketchbook 7 via mail they can order any of the previous issues as well.

Awesome, thanks a ton! I'll keep an eye on the forums for the post on ordering #7. Have fun at the Con!

I picked up my boxes of Sketchbook 7 this morning. It has a bunch of little seen and some unpublished drawing, a couple of sketches from Japan, and the turnarounds for the Usagi plushie. I also like to include some behind the scenes productions stuff--once it was an alternate ending to a story, once a step-by-step look at creating a story. This time it is a step-by-step of the three page Netsuke, including the outline, rough thumbnails, and finished thumbnails for approval (it was originally done for Wizard, and they needed to see the story before going to finished art).

Awesome! I always love these. And, they are always done on such nice paper. Can't wait to get #7 and finally #1!

Thanks for keeping us all updated on these things, the sketchbook sounds like it'll be a real treat (like always) and hopefully the JANM video will be available online once it is completed so us fans who live too far from the exhibit can still see it.

Maybe after it is completed the video can be posted on the Dojo homepage?

I am doing my final packing and signing. I hope to receive my copies of Book 24 today, then will have to them.

See you at the con.

As usual, I would appreciate smaller bills--$1 and $5--especially towards the latter part of the convention.

Despite asking for large bills from my bank, they still gave me like 40 $1 bills in my money that I exchanged, so if you want those Stan, you're welcome to swap them with me for higher notes heh...

I found out that I won't be able to attend SDCC this year for the first time in a while. I was hoping to pick up a Sketchbook #1 there...if it's still possible to order one after the convention, I'd definitely like to be on the list!

Thanks!
