Whoa, I can't believe how customs just man-handled the statues. So unprofessional. So sorry for that fan fan.

It seems like kitsune should be an easy fix. I will PM or email you on how to fix it.

I wonder if customs opens all boxes no matter how they are declared. it seems to vary since some other people received theirs unopened.

My box was definitely unopened, as there was no way to open it without going through the address labels. Jei's ear just broke off during handling. I guess I can be thankful they survived a lot better than yours then Fanfan

Well Mayhem, not the first happy surprise of international shipping...
between packages that never arrive (banner print sent by Steve for exemple) tube that are flattened (mouse guard print sent by you) and packages opened quite regularly....

Roel if you have an extra Spot in armor, i would take it this one will rest in pieces... i'll try to fix all broken part as you told me and let you know.

The inside of the hand of Kitsune looks like glass, what kind of composite did you use to do it by the way ?

I received mine on Friday. They are amazing. They were all unopened so I took great care opening them all. (I broke a gun when opening my Jonah Hex statue)

These are all amazing! Jei and the armoured Usagi are beautiful!

And yes, Zato Ino and his sword were one piece.

My Noriyuki's topknot was broken off and Ino's sword cane had come loose. While it doesn't appear that the shipping carton was opened, all of the individual statues' box' tape had been cut.

On a happier note Usagi and Jei look fantastic, and I'm delighted that the severed head wasn't cast in blue resin, as some promo photos led me to believe.

sounds like this series two set doesn't stand under a very good star...
although the statues look awesome and I only know how they look from all your fotos , yet it is the shipping process that seems cursed somehow...

I have informed Rokutoys of my statues' problems and have been extremely impressed with their prompt response and the options offered. While disappointed with some elements of quality control in the production and shipment of this series, I really hope they will not affect the availability of fitire statues.

I am unclear as to whether it is a problem with the shipping process or the poor handling by the delivery service and manhandling by the customs officials.

My package was delivered by Fed Ex in perfect condition, unopened and each statue completely taped up inside it's styrafoam packing. Taped up so well that it took forever to get them all unpackaged.

I can just picture some impatient custom official getting more and more angry as he opens each package to check for drugs or explosives.

There is not a whole lot a company can do to control how their package is handled by the shipping company while in transit. If the drivers or warehouse people want to play soccer with a package while on break, there is nothing the sender can do but send a replacement if it is damaged.

I bought one of those guitar hero games a few years back for my nephew from amazon. The package arrived from ups looking like it had fallen off the truck and the driver stopped and backed up over it, twice. I contacted amazon and they said they would ship out another one immediately and also paid for the return postage on the first one. The second one arrived in perfect condition.
