Pardon the ignorance, but I was curious... What gets you to one convention or another? Invite only, contact from you to the con holders, fan desire? There's a nice con in North Carolina I've gone to for a few years now, Heroes Con, and I'd love to be able to see you there. If there's any way I could help get you there, whether by showing them the demand or even by the means of storming to the joint with pitchfork & flame, I'll aid the cause. Thanks in advance for your time!

I've already been invited to Heroes Con by Shelton. Right now, I'm just waiting for follow-up correspondence, dates, and to see how it fits in with my schedule. My pal, Sergio, will be there.

I haven't been to Heroes in about 12 years.

Fantastic! I hope everything works out, I seldom make my way to states outside of the Carolinas and I've never been to San Diego. It'd be wonderful to have the chance to meet you and buy a piece of art. Thank you for the quick response!

I don't know. I've got some personal stuff that is coming up in May, and I'm considering going to the NCS Reuben Awards Weekend later that month. I'll keep updating my schedule as they are confirmed.

I'm just hoping Stan makes another Euro con like Berlin or similar next year...
obviously something like Leeds' Thought Bubble'd be ideal though!

David Petersen and a group of other American artists will be attending this in London in February... don't suppose we could entice Stan over heh...? ;)

Sharon and I will be in Washington DC in February.

I do have a Euro trip planned for the fall. I have to figure out how long I will be there.

Not the UK, though.

I will be at the Angouleme Comics Festival, January 26-29, 2012. It's been about 3 or 4 years since I was in France.

Looks like I'll be attending WonderCon this year. Anyone else from the Dojo planning to be there?
