I just got my Armored Usagi in the mail today :D He looks amazing and I think the statues box is awesome as well. My only regret, due to being laid off earlier this year, is that I was only able to afford the one and not the set. Kudos to Roku for another amazing set.

Sorry to hear about you getting a lay off. That's always not good.

I was just enjoying my cabinet full of Usagi maquettes, noting the odd hole where another character would fit quite nicely and caught myself thinking, "I wonder if RokuToys might have any announcements to make come SDCC."

:)

Not sure if Roel is on the boards much, but I'm going to ask anyway.

I've been drawing up my collectibles budget for 2012 (budget and collectibles in the same sentence... how geeky is that?), and I'm wondering if there is any confirmation either way about a third series of Usagi maquettes.

Personally I'm gagging for them (especially given there was talk of a Neko Ninja at one point), but I haven't really heard anything since the activity regarding the release of the second series.

I didn't miss any SDCC news did I? I did look for it (admittedly I got a little distracted by another "rabbit"... nice work Sideshow).

Relatively new Usagi fan here (only have read the Special Edition set so far) - and I just ordered Series 1 Exclusive Set and Series 2. It was a steep investment, but they look like quality collectibles, and at a decent size too. I love collectibles at a decent scale like this.

Any word on if a Series 3 is planned yet or not?

Okay, so two questions:

1) The release of the Tshirts from Rokutoys would lead me to believe that there is hope for a third series of maquettes and the second series didn't kill the business.

and

2) How come internationals can't order a Tshirt? :(

I hope this will help our international friends here at the dojo. Happy holidays.

Just curious, the RokuToys site still shows the 6 piece exclusive sets as still available to order for both Series 1 and 2. Does anbody have any word if this is still the case?

Just wanted to revive this thread for folk who read it and in the hopes that Roel is still around... or someone knows where he is.

I'm hoping that we might see some more maquettes in the future. Obviously things are a little quiet now, but I'm holding onto hope that the Neko ninja design that was discussed once is only in development limbo... temporarily.

If someone can put us in touch with the artist, we would be interested in purchasing some as giveaway prizes for the new Usagi game coming out!

More blog posts are up with character art! http://www.happygiant.com/blog

thanks!

Just wanted to resurrect this thread in the hopes that Roel's "upcoming announcement" announcement in another thread is about maquettes. *fingers crossed*

Hey is anyone else having an error come up when trying to check out the Roku Toys website?
