Have you ever drawn...?

Mr. Sakai,

I wasn't sure which board to post this on so I just put it on this one.

A friend of mine was wondering if you had ever drawn Lobster Johnson? He is a big fan of your work and Mike Mignola's work. He considers himself the world's #1 Lobster fan.

I've never drawn Lobster, but I have drawn Hellboy a few times.

Thanks for the reply! I found a Hellboy drawing by you that I will definitely show to him. It's the one with Usagi and Hellboy. I think it's on a promotional poster for San Diego Comic Con.

I gave Mike the original watercolor art, and he reciprocated by giving me a cool Hellboy pencil drawing.

Yes, I have as a couple of commissions. One was a straight rendition of the thunder god, and another was Usagi as Thor. As far as I know, neither have been published.

Something about Hellboy that's just fun to draw. I suppose it's the asymmetry of the big stone hand.

Speaking of Stan drawing other things; I'd love to see Stan do a cover for IDW's revived line of Disney comics. Usagi and Scrooge are my two favorite comics characters!

This question entered my head earlier today: Has Stan ever drawn Sherlock Holmes (the real one, not those TV imposters! :wink: ). I remember he mentioned that he was a fan of Sherlock Holmes at some point. I'd love to see a Sherlock/Inspector Ishida team-up!
