Stan Sakai wrote:Sorry for the delay in posting these for sale on the website. Hopefully, we will get them up by Friday at the latest.

We've got to go through all the cases to see how many are damaged. We're still figuring out how many levels to offer--unsigned, signed, remarqued, artist proofs--and what to price them at. Daniel talked to a couple of guys who specialize in stuff like this for advice.

There will be less of these variants than even the San Diego Comic-Con Variants which had 500 units, 350 of which were sold at the con.
Since I am much more interested in the packaging than the actual figure, I would be more than happy to take an undamaged package with a damaged or defective figure if you run across anything like that. :D

Friday?!

I think I will definitely need help securing one of these. It's just all happening so quickly.

Debating whether to ask Kyle to get one for me... decisions, decisions ;) what's the standard price for the figure (before any signature, remark etc) going to be? :)

Is there going to be a limit on how many I can order? Sounds like I may be helping out some international friends on this.

For you, no. In fact, don't buy one for yourself. I will send you a special one for your service to the Dojo not just for this instance but for so many other things you have done such as getting things for members at Comic-con, coordinating the contest prizes, even getting Comic-con passes.

Awesome, thanks!

So, for our international friends, once pricing is announced, just let me know what version you want (unsigned, signed, remarqued, or AP) and I'll get them ordered ASAP. I'll probably put in a single order to save on initial shipping costs. If I hear from all of you Friday, I'll order them that same day.

As of right now, I'll plan on ordering for:

Otter
Mayhem (possibly)

This act of acknowledgment and kindness makes my day. Put my name down for the Jabba fan fan club too. :) Peace, maka

Whoa! You deserve it, jabba! :)

And yes, I am also available to help if anyone is interested. PM me.
Now would I cheat a friend?

Thanks Jabba! :)

And thanks for taking care of Jabba (and by extension the rest of us), Stan. ;) This is, hands-down, the nicest forum I frequent.

I am posting this so that Dojo members can start budgeting and think about which category of toys you would like. We have not started taking actual orders yet. Daniel and Julie are opening the boxes right now looking for damage. These prices do not include shipping, of which we have not figured out.

Don't hold me to this, but right now we are looking at:

unsigned toys--$30 (same price point as the SDCC Exclusive)

signed/numbered of an edition of 250--$50

remarqued/numbered of an edition of 150--$75

artist proofs with detailed drawings--$125

The number of unsigned toys and APs will depend upon how many undamaged toys we have. The damage is on the boxes, mostly very minor.

Jabba definitely deserves to be pampered. I, too, wish to enroll in his fanclub.

If anyone wants me to buy a toy for them, let me know (quickly). I'll be traveling to France for the holidays and will have some free space in my luggage, if someone prefers to have it shipped from there.
