Considering the amount of coverage that the announcement of Gaumont optioning Usagi Yojimbo for a television series received, I would say that Usagi Yojimbo has not only stayed famous, but has become even more famous......
(Bumping an old thread....)
Will Usagi still be famous in five years from now?

I live in a medium sized city with about four major chain bookstores and two comic book stores and it seems Usagi is more available than ever before. In the previous decade I'd rarely see a tpb in the wild, and if I did it'd just be the most recently released one. Now the Saga editions are stocked practically everywhere.

Yeah, to echo Steve, I don't think Usagi has been any more popular than he is now. Great for Stan, just glad I bought most of my original art years ago
