I visited an installation of Hiroshige's ukiyo-e woodblock print series of The 53 Stations of the Tokaido earlier today and I got some distinct impressions of Usagi Yojimbo while going over the various prints, especially those of bridges, and street scenes and people when Usagi is traveling. Obviously the style is different but I definitely got some vibes from the prints.
You can see the complete series on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fifty ... kaid%C5%8D
Now I really want an ukiyo-e print of Usagi and friends in a town somewhere or a battle or fighting yokai!
