I edited the first post with the address to which to send your PayPal payment, but here it is again:

Send $1 to: stansakai@gmail.com

Then send me a PM on this Dojo Board with your name, address, and whether you would like one UNsigned.

This is for US orders only. We are still looking for an International Facilitator. The IF would get a FREE bookplate (a $1 savings!). International orders and payment would go through him (or her) and he would tell me how many to send him.

Again, the cut-off date is Monday, January 11. The bookplates will be sent out a few days after that.

Those who had already sent payment to another PayPal address--send me a PM with your name, address and whether you would like an unsigned plate and I will send it out along with the others. I apologize for the inconvenience.

International postage stamps for letters and cards is $1.20

I thought Kyle had already mentioned his availability for this position, but I am also available if anyone outside the USA would like to order one of these. Please post a comment below if interested.....

If it's as little as that, then yeah might make a lot more sense just having someone ship them to non US addresses rather than a bundle going to a person over this side to redistribute. I'm obviously in for one, whether sent to Kyle or sent to me directly.

Not a problem. I still have quite a few left, in fact.

I think I'm supposed to do a Zoom interview with Comic Experience Wednesday evening (6PM PST) for their bookclub. Here's a link to the live broadcast:

I’m looking forward to this but I’ll have to watch a recording of it. I have my support group zoom meeting until 7. Maybe I can catch the last part live. Have fun! Peace, maka

Is anyone going to glue their bookplate into the Bunraku hardcover?

Are there any plates left? I'll place an order if there are still any available.

The bookplates, except for the international orders to Kyle, have been mailed out so expect them in a few days.

We still have some plates left so if you want one, go ahead and order one--send a dollar PayPal to: stansakai@gmail.com

Then send me a PM on the Dojo Forum with your name and address.

If it looks good sizewise then yes. The first 7 Fantagraphics have glued tip in plates so why not? IDW didn't even give us endpapers so that hardcover needs a little spicing up. Otherwise, It will go into a box full of other things.

Dear Stan,

I enjoyed the interview. It was entertaining and nice break from all the work and personal stuff I’m working on. Thank you.

I hope someday you will share the photos your dad took of Japan. I am very interested in that.

Take care, maka

Thank you. The interview came up unexpectedly. I wish I had some visuals to demonstrate my process. I was just not thinking ahead.

My dad had a LOT of slides made. It was much cheaper than developing photos, though he did have his own developing equipment. I had offered them all to the Japanese American National Museum but, after an initial positive response, they never contacted me about them.

I really enjoyed the interview as well. I have to say that there were quite a few bits which have not been brought up in previous interviews. Very interesting and educational. Also, since it was billed as a "book club" I was actually expecting more of a read along / discussion of a book, so a straight up interview was a pleasant surprise. Thank you for doing this.
