Wow...

Post by Jedi Usagi »

I didn't even know this place existed! Howdy from FOB Salerno in Afghanistan!

I am patiently awaiting Duel at Kitanoji and several other Usagi TPBs here to pass the time, and I just thought I'd stop in and say hello. No one writes a better story than Stan Sakai...I'm certainly glad there's a place like this for us to gather.

On purpose? LOL.

Hi, what a difference technology makes! When my dad was in the service, we had old-fashioned overseas snail-mail!

This is a cool site.

HELLO!! and Welcome! I really have no right to say that officially, but I'll say it again anyway, welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the Dojo! Doing a cannonball from a plane into a pool has to be one of the coolest things ever ;) .

Welcome.
Only when the plane is up in the air?

Always glad to meet another fan of Stan Sakai and his roamin' rabbit Miyamoto Usagi. Also glad to hear you like the site and hope to see you around whenever time allows you to visit. A lot of talented and dedicated people have worked hard to make this the great web-site it is today.

Oh, before I forget, cool avatar!

To answer everyone's question, I'm a paratrooper. And I've landed in trees but never water, although I've heard that's really great. Thanks for the compliment about my avatar!

FOB Salerno is SW of Kabul, in a town called Khowst, about 20km east of the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. Not a bad place to be, considering some of the teeny, Wild West places I've been to.
