General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
As long as we get an appropriate "Death Skull Bubble" every time someone gets killed in the game, I'm totally there whether it's an action-RPG, a 3rd person action/platformer, a NWN RPG, or whatever. That's far more important than any amount of red blood, IMO.
As long as this hypothetical game comes out for the PS2 or the Mac, I'd have to buy it on general principle. But only if it has the death skull bubbles.
I think getting the people who are doing the Bone video game to work on a similar Usagi one with more action is definitely called for, though.
YES!! The death skull bubbles are a must! It wouldn't be UY otherwise! .
The Bone videogame looks very promising. I was looking forward to play a new old-school adventure game. Also, the creator of Sam & Max has regained the rights, so hopefully we'll see a new game in the future. Sam & Max Hit The Road was one of the funniest games I've ever played.
Man, I can't recall how many hours I've wasted playing Little Fighter at university. That game is awesome.

Or maybe Death Star Bubbles? Too Starwarsy?
So Death Shuriken Blahblah smth is better?
Oh Man... what is this? Does anybody even try to think about the sword fighting engine?
And do anybody knows Tenacious D? www.tenaciousd.com - the greatest band on earth!
Battle Sound: RYAA! ARGH...!
Everyone have a samurai deep within... inside.
Not everyone can awake him.
I had already thought about this fact, and i think some day we will have it, and I would help if needed also.
The stile of the game i think better fits is the 3d person 3d.
Playing with several characters would be fine, as far as having a good sword movement (someone mentioned Jedy academy?, oh yeah i love that sistem of combat)
Well, not everyone in the Dojoboard is a gamer, and maybe nobody has anything new to add to the topic.
I personally don't have anything else to say (sword fighting engine? what do you mean? Technical aspects about collision detection in a 3D environment and fluid character animation? Or how the fighting control system would work?). I've already posted about how I'd make a UY game a few times. Go read the older posts if you haven't already. Or post something else you might have come up with, so maybe somebody else will get new ideas and keep posting.
