General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
While re-reading some of the more recent TBPs, it struck me that these are two of my favourite Usagi characters, despite the fact that they are totally different.
I thought it might be nice to have them appear in the same story together. How would Inspector Ishida, with his faith in modern police techniques, go about investigating the activities of Sasuke?
And how would sorceror Sasuke take to the little inspector and his probing questions?
What about it, Stan? Any chance of it happening?
If not, I'd still like to see another Inspector Ishida mystery at some point!
'Honour'? I can't relate to that. 'Money' I can relate to! — Gen, Samurai, Part 1

There are no plans for such a meeting, but Sasuke does make a return visit in UY 66.
If I remeber correctly, Inspector Ishida was quite the Go player. I got so excited when I saw him and Usagi playing I picked up the game again. My girlfriend and I play once a week now.
All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.
Not quite, Demon Mask, or Inspector Kojo played Go. He did however study law with Ishida so it is very possible that they played Go every once in a while.
