Elliot S! Maggin is the only comic related person that i can think of who is male, older than you, and ran for political office. i dont know if he's best known for any work outside of comics; i'm no Elliot Maggin expert, but i know he's a writer who has written other things too. i dont like using my second guess already, but sometimes you gotta take the gamble

I got confirmation that George would write the intro on the last day of Comic-con.
