Wow, what did I miss? I'm away from the forum for the weekend and a fun new topic pops up!

I too am a fairly newly recruited follower of David Petersen's Mouse Guard. I decided to take the plunge a year or two ago. Not much I can add other than to give my recommendation into picking up this fun and entertaining series.

I thought David was going to be at the recent Long Beach Comic Expo, but I was mistaken and he won't be in town until this autumn  at the Long Beach Comic Con. Hoping to get some books signed and maybe a sketch or two.

Yes, great stuff! I went ahead and ordered Autumn 1152 in hardcover and it is on its way. I have yet to get my hands on our new copy of Winter 1152 that I just bought as two of my kids laid claimed to it yesterday and today another one has it. Soemtime this week I should actually be able to read it. :) But, on looking through it, it is really great stuff.

I'll have to look into buying the side stories as well, esp the stuff that Stan has lended a hand in creating!

I picked up Fall 1152 for my niece for Christmas the other year, but haven't read any of the Mouse Guard books myself. I love David Peterson's art, so I suppose that I should give these books a try. I'm sure I'll enjoy them.

Mouse Guard is one of those series that I've heard nothing but great things about over the years, but have yet to fully check out. Fortunately, I just checked and Comixology has all the series so far available digitally so perhaps it's time I do so.

@Buck, Stan's Rocketeer story (written and drawn by him), I think, was published in IDW's second Rocketeer anthology miniseries, around #3 or #4 if memory serves. It was a wonderful short story.

My recently ordered "Autumn" edition just arrived and is excellent just like the "Winter" book. Quickly has become a favorite of my kiddos right along side Usagi Yojimbo.

Also ordered and sent a copy of "Autumn" out to my 6 year old nephew for his birthday in two weeks. (Already sent him and his brother a number of the UY TPB's for Christmas!) :D

I just finished reading the newly released Legends of the Mouse Guard Vol.3 #1, featuring stories by Mark Buckingham and Skottie Young. Terrific art and some really good stories (or should I say, tales). :)
