pretty much what Mayhem said...
although I wonder if it will be available outwith the expo? just that I'll be in Paris at the end of next month, and if so this gives me the (flimsy) excuse I don't need to go take a look at Album!
If you go to Paris, you can also go have a look at the Glénat gallery. They are the ones publishing the book for the expo, and they will be hosting the exhibition this summer.
I didn't manage to get any info so far about the availability of the book outside of the festival. I don't even know if it will be soft or hardcover, which would be a pretty good indication. ( a cheap softcover would likely be available only at the expo, while a hardcover would more probably be for sale in bookshops and online afterwards) :/

thanks, Eltanin!
didn't know about the Glénat gallery, and seeing as it's just south of République, definitely try and swing by

So, i bought the book for myself and have definitive info: the book is softcover, it's 29 euros, and it's a limited print run of 900 and something copies, available only at the festival (though i suspect some copies will probably find their way to ebay). Stan Sakai true illustration is in the book (they used a french spelling version of the name, though: "Sakaï").

I'll post some pictures later tonight.

Given the high price of the book, I need urgent confirmation of anyone who wants me to pick a copy for them, as I will likely not buy any more than needed. It seems the book sells pretty well, and i think they will be out of stock before the end of the weekend.

As I'm also a fan of Akira, yes please pick up a copy of the book for me :)

When you're in Paris, you can ask at the Glénat gallery if they have any spare copy left (since they are the ones who published the book). If you don't find it there, ebay will be the last resort.

I had heard from someone (Stuart Ng) attending the festival that they were sold out.....

I had asked him if he planned on getting some to sell in his shop.

Yeah, I found out about this print on the last day of the festival. There was one location giving this print when purchasing the book. Of course, it was not the location where I had already purchased the books. :x

There is already one book (with print) on ebay:
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Tribute-to-Otomo ... SwnLdWsIvA

Of course, they are trying to sell it for double the initial price...
