Now you can take each box to one of the smaller shows that Stan attends and have him draw a scene on it. 8)

When I decided to get mine signed (I only had one at the time), I put the statue on the base at home and then used tape (I'd suggest something like painters tape) to mark out the area the statue occupies and then only brought the base with me to get signed (saving lots of room over bringing the whole statue). The taped off part showed where Stan could sign/sketch it without being underneath where the statue stands.

Yep, just like that. Love it! Did you break down each box to make them easier to carry around?

While I miss my statues, I'm grateful that I can't be tempted to carrying my 12 boxes to Stan's table to sign. ;) Ha!

Those are cool sketches grusagi! Congrats! Peace, maka

i brought the whole box of 6 figures to comic fest last year (yes, with figures and stands still inside taped up, not recommended)

i waited until the end of the show to bring them out.

stan was very patient with me as i took out each box, had to take each box out of the plastic, then the tape for each stand.

i'm hoping to bring just the empty boxes and stands to this year's comic fest so the process will be smoother.

i already have my painter's tape on my stands like jabba suggested.

i am forever thankful to stan for being patient with me.

Just a heads up that I'll be closing down Rokutoys. If anyone wanted figures this is the time to get it. Sale prices are still going on.

Roel, thank you again for making Rokutoys a reality for us fans. They remain the best statues of Usagi Yojimbo universe. I still remember the thrill of seeing you post pictures of your first drafts of Usagi and Zato Ino. And the random contest to win the first prototype (I wanted to win that so bad). And then ordering set one when it came out and the thrill of opening up each one and taking them out and marveling at how amazingly cool each was. Then getting series two. And my favorite Usagi T-shirt. Thank you for all of that. It was so much fun for me. Peace, maka
