Looking at the photo on eBay, it looks like the run is 225 prints (plus the artist proofs), so probably 260 total.

How do you know there are 35 artist proofs? Did you see them when you were at Stan's house?

If anyone comes across one of Stan's prints for sale please let me know.
I missed out on the Mondo site sale while at work and it appears AP's may not be available.
I'm not thrilled paying $100+ to an eBay flipper.
Thanks!

Unless you've seen something otherwise, I think the plan is to still make AP's available to Dojo members before opening them up to everyone else. Stan has been out of town in Hawaii, but will be back soon (since he has an art workshop next week in Temecula).

I have inquired a couple times about availability of the AP prints and the last email from the Usagi Team said they weren't sure if any AP copies will be available for sale.
They said they would check again and get back to me. Hopefully it all works out. If not, maybe one will pop up on eBay at a more reasonable price.

Hey Trevis,

Things may have changed, but I was told that these AP prints will be available at some point. I think they are figuring out what to price them at. Especially since these are signed by Stan. Seems like the remarked copies of the Usagi / TMNT books are about $60 more than the cover price. But again are AP prints and very limited, so I imagine they will be expensive if and when they become available. Good luck!

Peace, maka

These are for the two character remarques (Usagi and one Turtle). The non-remarqued books are cover price, and they will come with the standard signature and a quick Usagi head sketch.

I just returned home this afternoon.

We will make the Mondo print available to Dojo members but only for a limited time. We will give you the heads up before we announce it on the Dojo. These will all be remarqued Artist Proofs. Dojo members will be offered them first and if we have any left we will sell them through the online store or at conventions for a slighter higher price.

Daniel is still sorting out details as to shipping. He wants to send them out flat because of the thickness of the paper. We have not figured out prices yet.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate international shipping. We have had a lot of trouble with it in the past, some countries a lot more than others.

Mondo ships in 4" diameter tubes and the posters aren't rolled too tight. The posters flatten out pretty quickly. If I catch David Petersen live streaming on Twitch again soon, I'll ask him what he did for his Mondo posters. I'm pretty certain he was looking at large diameter tubes as well.

Same size tube I believe, as I know a couple of folks here in the UK ordered from him for that print (whereas I went direct from Mondo).
