Here are the new turnarounds of Usagi for your viewing pleasure.

Usagi is about 7 3/4 from head to toe and about 8 3/4 from ear to toe.

Whoa!!!!

People aren't too enthusiastic?!?!?! I would like for nothing better right now than to add one of each of your "Usagi world" figures to my collection, but you stated early on that these were going to be one-off sculpts.

Is there any way to do a low number run of these? I bet there are more people following this thread who were put off from responding because of that opening statement.

This would be the ultimate in Usagi collectibles, and if it were limited to initial orders from dojo members I know that I would pre-register for your entire run of characters.

Usagisher,

There may be some possibility that this does get produced in some quantity but I'm not too sure yet. We'll see what happens.

I still would like to do a raffle to give away one of these Usagi maquettes to coincide with the 100th issue. Maybe Todd can think of a way to do this. I like Steve's idea of doing an email to all the dojo members.

Hey Todd do you have any suggestions in doing this?

Here's a sculpt of Usagi and Ino together for the first time in clay form. Ino is still a work in progress and needs a lot of refinement. I thought that you guys would get a kick in seeing the behind scenes of it getting made though.

(Ino's hand will be further apart so that you'll be able to see his blade coming out of the cane. He also looks smaller because he's a little bit further back than Usagi. They are actually about the same hieght but Ino is hunched over.)

This sounds like a great idea. The 100th issue of Usagi is definitely a cause for celebration. Let me think about it and get back to you.

Here's Usagi with a hat. The picture is not that great so I'll try to replace it tomorrow.

Here's some different versions that I'm going to try and do. These are just some quick comps for me to get an idea of what I want.

That armor looks especially cool, as does the one in the rain.

I'm a sculptor too, I used to work for SOTAtoys in LA, so I know good work, and this is damn fine work. I am extremely impressed, and I REALLY want that set for my desk. I don't see the problem in getting them set up for sale in a limited run.

Besides, if we aren't ever able to get them, I'm going to haunt your every footstep till your pour me a set in Resin. I kid, but seriously, lets make these available soon.

If we do have an armor version than Usagi's scar should be fresh and bleeding and his armor and flag battered. The next picture is a little bit morbid in that he is holding the head of Mifune. (which might not be too suitable as an accessory)

I'm glad you like it Stan. I'll send you a copy of all of them once I'm done.
