chickrockguitar wrote:Thanks for that. Just so I'm clear, if you put in a pre-order a while back, you will get a letter when the times comes, and then you go ahead to the site, put your details in and and pay with paypal, right?
Yes, that is correct. For the people that bought a set we have given a discount and a FREE figure but we are thinking of also doing something else. We may add something to the exclusive sets or we may even give a bigger discount for the people that have pre ordered before Jan 1st 2010. More news to follow.

Thanks for the reply.

One more question.
Any idea if the Dojo backgrounds are going to be for sale?

Thanks again.

"only taking Paypal at this point"?

Does that mean that if I placed a pre-order, and don't want to pay by Paypal, preferring to do so by credit card, that my pre-order won't be honoured?

Isn't it a little unconventional not to offer payment by credit card?

Hi Otter,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Right now we will only take PayPal. This may change later but we did it this way for now since I didn't want someone constantly trying to hack into my system to steal credit card information. Once I feel that I can safely do it then we will proceed with it. For now I feel that PayPal would work the best since people can have an option of using their bank account or their credit card through Paypal. You could also pay by Money Order or Cashiers Check if that helps you out.

I will probably need to slowly stop answering questions here since this is a fan site for Usagi. I'm not on here as much as well and won't be able to answer your questions ASAP. Please go to the RokuToys Forum if you have any questions and someone will answer them immediately or you can also email us at rokutoys@gmail.com.

For the latest updates we also have a NEWS PAGE and it shows the statues getting prepped to be shipped right now. If you join the forum I would love to hear your comments. I'm a huge Usagi fan first and foremost and I'm trying to give back to the fans. I won't be able to please everyone but we're trying hard to give you the best product possible.

Thank you

Thanks Roel,

I didn't realise I could use my credit card through Paypal. Sorry for the panic.

Can't wait for these maquettes to come out.

Just a thought... with the drama of Katsuichi's eyepatch: Did you ever consider casting two different, interchangeable heads for the excluive editions? You know, rather than the interchangeable tea set.

The "Usagi Yojimbo Series One" statues have arrived at our U.S. warehouse!

We are very excited to let you know that we are ready to ship them out now. Since you've pre-ordered an "Usagi Yojimbo Series One" item, we have reserved the collectible specified in your pre-order.

To complete your order and submit your payment, please go to the rokutoys products page.

If we do not hear from you within 7 business days we will restock the item(s) specified in your pre-order. If you would like to cancel your item please email us asap at rokutoys@gmail.com.

For now, we will be only processing DOMESTIC sales (shipping domestically to any state in the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii and Alaska). We are still researching to find the best rates for shipping internationally. For our international customers, we ask for your patience in this matter.

We'd like to thank you again for your pre-order. It took a while to get the design finalized and the product shipped to our warehouse, but we think that the figures look GREAT and that you won't be disappointed.

All the best,

RokuToys

Hi Yee,

The $10 is already taken off. The price without the discount would be $409.95. So the $399.95 is the discounted rate plus the $30 Free Bonus Figure. We are also trying to give very reasonable shipping rates. We are actually not making anything on shipping.

Thanks for ordering and we will process your order today.

Sorry about the delay Chickrockguitar. Just to clarify things for the international customers, the 7 days that you need to pay for your items does not pertain to international orders. All international orders are still reserved for you. I could actually ship out international orders now but I'm trying to find better rates so the duties and tax for you are reasonable.

Thanks for the patience and we are working very hard to sort things out. Any suggestions are also welcomed.

If you're not shipping them with insurance, then mark Customs to US$30. That'll get them under the radar into the UK ;)

If you ARE shipping them with insurance then fair enough, it will hurt a bit though getting here (looking at 50 quid or so).
