General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
For those attending WonderCon, make sure to catch Stan on this panel:
Sergio & Mark Show
Friday April 3, 2015 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Room 208
For years now, a Sergio & Mark panel has consisted of them promising that the new GROO would be out soon; but now there is new GROO out! It's the new limited series, GROO: Friends and Foes, starring the stupidest barbarian ever, plus a lot of folks who want to kill him. The panel will talk about it, what's coming next, and forthcoming Sergio & Mark projects. Join Sergio Aragones, Mark Evanier, Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo), and maybe, if he can be pried away from the computer, Tom Luth!

I saw this one year at Wondercon. It is a lot of fun because they all like each other. Mark is a fountain of stories from the good old days of TV and movies. Sergio has his stories too. They joke with each other and there is all this positive vibe that makes you feel good about humanity. . Peace, maka

Sorry, but I won't make it to Heroes Con after all. I just have too much going on.
I leave for Northern California for my son's graduation tomorrow. Daughter is getting married next week, then we all leave for Hawaii for Sharon's memorial service and inurnment of her ashes. I am more than a month behind on Usagi deadline because of other projects that have come up, and Sergio is giving me Groo pages tonight.

However, I did add Lucca, Italy to the list.
Safe travels. That's a lot of celebrating and family events in short time. May they all go well and create memories that you all can connect together with as you live your lives. Congratulations to Hannah and Matt and you.
Congratulations for Matt, congratulations for Hannah, and more condolences for Sharon's service, I hope you have pleasant and trouble free trips to each event.
Sorry for those who had hoped to see you at Heroes, but it is nice to hear that you accepted the invitation to Lucca in Italy, hope you can make the most of the opportunity while there.

Dear Sensei,
May you have safe travels and good times and return home with lasting memories.
Sorry to hear that you've cancelled for Heroes. But congratulations to you and yours on the upcoming celebrations and I hope all will be well for the memorial service.
random(ish) question:
will there be a UK con that Stan will make? Thought Bubble springs to mind, but I'm wondering if it's something that would ever happen?

I have tentatively agreed to London and Cardiff (end of February, and beginning of March). I will post it on the schedule when things firm up. They also want to publish a sketchbook and a print.
