I think the other one-pager I know of, Leaping Ninja (Oni Double Feature 11) may not be in any of the collected books just yet.

Per my records Leaping Ninja has been collected a few times. It is in Usagi Yojimbo: Book 14: Demon Mask (both hardcover and trade paperback) as well as The Usagi Yojimbo Saga: Book 3 (both hardcover and trade paperback).

It looks like Vol. 4 Issue #2 has three covers. All three are the same except for the color of the IDW logo:

• Dark Blue - First printing (many arrived damaged at shops)
• Light Blue - First Printing (replacements for damaged books)
• Red - Second Printing

I am not sure if the story on the back cove of Command Review appeared anywhere previously.

Command Review #1 was published in July 1986. The only Usagi appearances prior to it were:

Albedo (Volume 1)
Nov/1984 - issue #2 - Usagi Yojimbo (first appearance – later titled “The Goblin of Adachigahara”)
Apr/1985 - issue #3 - Lone Rabbit and Child part 1
Jul/1985 - issue #4 - Lone Rabbit and Child part 2

Critters
Jun/1986 - issue #1 - Bounty Hunter

I flipped through Albedo 2 and 3 just now and the story is not in either of them. My Albedo 4 and Critters 1 are a little more difficult to get so did not dig them out out but I do not recall it being in either (although my memory could be failing me) so I think it is the first time the story appeared. I am not sure where it might have been reprinted.

The bottom right panel advertising the Usagi T-shirt appeared before. The ad as was in Albedo 2 and 3 (and perhaps in Albedo 4 and Critters 1 and elsewhere???). The drawing in the ad, but not the ad, itself was in Cutey Bunny 4 which is copy-write 1985 but the letter column states that Albedo issue 1 had been released and Albedo issue 2 should be out around the same time as Cutey Bunny 4. Albedo #2 has an ad for Cutey Bunny 4 and says Cutey Bunny 4 would be out in Dec 1984.

I am looking for a Command Review 1 copy that I could get CGC in 9.8. (I managed to get Cutey Bunny 4 in CGC 9.

I have Command Review #1 (never been able to get the rest of the compilations) but I don’t think it’s 9.8 heh. Always thought the Usagi thing was printed elsewhere, but maybe not... if anyone can say?

The Usagi one page story/ad on the back cover of Command Review 1 is also on the back cover of Zell Sworddancer 1, July 1986.

Random trivia, Zell Sworddancer #1 can be seen on a spinner rack in the 1989 film Drugstore Cowboy.
