The last date Diamond shipped anything was March 26th according to my LCS.

Word from my LCS is that Diamond "might" begin shipping early to mid May...

I was surprised to be able to mailorder regular series issue 9 and Color Classics 3 from a shop, wasn't sure if mailorder was an ongoing possibility. Sounds like maybe some shipping wheels were still in motion after NYC shut down. Got an elusive Love and Rockets issue in the mail as well.

Issue 9 and Color Classics 3 were both released prior to the Diamond shutdown. I assume those shops that are able to maintain some sort of "in store" presence, are thus still doing mail order or even curbside pick-up.Casey Burns wrote:I was surprised to be able to mailorder regular series issue 9 and Color Classics 3 from a shop, wasn't sure if mailorder was an ongoing possibility. Looks like color classics will continue after all, but with a new series name or names going forward.

Wanderer's Road #1 in November looks to pick up with FB issue 7's "The Tower."
I hope they decide to color the Albedo and Critters stories at some point. Those early ones are personal faves. I remember getting the first paperback when I was sick in 1987 and reading those while laying on the couch, over and over.

What's the deal with these Peach covers? I keep seeing threads and mentions, but I'm out of the loop. Is it a series of hard to find variants that people are scrambling for?

I think it's a cool idea to showcase guest artists with the color classics covers. Stan's already done covers for these stories.

Yes, Peach will be the cover artist for a little while--not a variant, but the regular cover. She is a fan of Usagi and, hopefully, some of her followers will pick up the Classic series and become hooked on the stories.

Oh, how neat!! A guest cover!! That should at least make it easier to acquire.Stan Sakai wrote:maichan wrote:Oh no..... another Peach Momoko cover...![]()

EDIT --- Scratch that.... as usual, I wasn't thinking. The Classic series is reprints and not the current ongoing series...

Yes, issue 10 had a limited variant cover by Peach Momoko. It was very limited, sold only online from IDW for the SDCC onlineCon, and was very hard to get.Casey Burns wrote:What's the deal with these Peach covers? The demand for Peach covers is a good thing for Usagi in my opinion. I was never a big fan of variant covers but I have to admit I am enjoying seeing other people’s art and trying to collect them. It’s expensive but not as expensive (usually) as original art.Stan Sakai wrote:maichan wrote:Oh no..... another Peach Momoko cover...![]()
