Not to worry. I had already told Sergio that we will be splitting the bill.

Or better yet, we'll take it out of the Dojo Treasury.

I think the Dojo should have a treasury, though. Perhaps a refrigerator full of rice balls and a jug of sake in case we ever need to hire a wandering Yojimbo to protect us.

OK, I know this is getting close to the last minute, but with the panel schedule finally available, and having just received my nephew Nick's list of panels he is interested in, I am not sure if 3:00 will work for me.

The conflict is the TMNT panel at 2:30

2:30p.m.- Speaker Room 2: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
With the new TMNT movie out and the comic series going strong spend an hour with three of the people behind thescenes as Eric Talbot, Steve Leviene and Michael Dooney answers your questions about the Turtles in A Half Shell.

Is it possible to shift the meet-up to around 3:30 or 3:45?

Arigato gozaimasu,
Steve

Ok pulling an arbitrary time out of thin air... how's Saturday at 3:00? Just as a starting point - obviously it's entirely mutable! We will have our camera and if all the stars align we might be able to post pictures that night.

Just let me know if this isn't going to work and we can change it until it works for as many as possible.

see you there!
I have pulled this out of Stan's what to bring thread 'cause it's probably easier for him to keep track of stuff without extraneous posts getting in the way. I am charged with geting a get-together ... together, for us Dojo members who are going to MCCC. To my knowledge 5 people are planning to be there - they are: Steve Hubbell, MikeM, and maybe shaxper - plus Gary and I of course. Let me know if I've missed anyone and if the proposed time and day work or don't work for you and we can tweak it 'till it does.

I'm fine with it... I see from the posts on this forum that you're probably not the only one who'll want to catch this panel

- if everyone can chime in we'll know if the message reached everyone. Though I suppose it's not the end of the world if people have to hang out with Stan or wander the con for half an hour. Is 3:30 late enough?

I will update this as I can - we leave tomorrow at the crack of doom!

Nick and I will get there as soon as possible after the TMNT panel, which ends at 3:30, depending on crowds and distance of course.

Very happy morna with the cover to Usagi 101

Well, I havent really had a chance to say much yet because the whole weekend was incredibly busy.

Saturday was a blast and it was great meeting you all. Shaxper and your lovely wife Kiera, morna-san, Gary, Steve and his nephew Nick. Of course it was amazing meeting David Petersen, Sergio and the man himself, Stan Sakai. I havent been able to stop raving about dinner to anyone who will listen.

I unfortunately don't have a scanner but I did take some photos that Im trying to figure out how to post, lol.

This is what I got on the weekend however:
I got my copy of Mouse Guard #1 signed.
I got my copy of Usagi Yojimbo volume 3 singed (it was the first Usagi book I ever bought)
I got my copy of Usagi Yojimbo #1 signed (Fantagraphics version)
Usagi Yojimbo back issues
TMNT back issues
A Usagi Yojimbo pin
The Duel print
2 other prints
2 pieces of original Stan Sakai artwork.
I was going to buy one of Usagi with his straw coat in the rain. But as I was thinking about it, someone else bought it :(
Snooze you loose I guess. I did get a nice piece with Shingen (my favourite) and Usagi fighting.

It was a fantastic weekend, and it was really awesome meeting you all.
