Incidentally, we each worked all over the art, not just on our halves. Can you tell which parts I worked on in this part of the cover?
The zombies, Vikings and the serpent. Not sure about the guy right in front of Usagi.....
I think the zombie getting his hand cut off, the samurai armor on the bottom right, and possibly the dragon.
I think the guy right in front of Usagi, the bottom left zombie, and Vikings are Simonson. I don't think I've seen Stan use zig-zag lines when shading (he uses a bunch of single lines), which the bottom left zombie and back-to-us characters have.
The dragon doesn't look too much like Stan's usual dragon style, but the snout/nose looks like Stan's work. It's hard to tell since we can't see most of the head. I wouldn't be surprised if Stan drew the dragon head and neck and then Simonson did the body.

Too bad the title banner covers most of the dragon's head. I sure hope this (along with Stan's Ragnarok half) gets a poster or print from IDW.
I believe there will be a print of this given at the IDW dinner. I don’t think it will be available elsewhere.

That's pretty much what I was thinking too...
Zombie 1, armour and the dragon for Stan.
Usagi, zombie 2, unknown warrior and vikings for Simonson.

You might be talking me into doing the dinner.
If you have already requested, or plan to request, that I pick up some of the variants for you, please check out the new thread I created specifically for that purpose: http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum3/view ... f=5&t=8679
Since searching through this whole thread, my PMs, Facebook messages, and text messages to try to sort out group ordering for a bunch of these comics is a pain and I don't want to miss/forget any requests that have been sent, I created a thread to help keep everyone on the same page as far as having me (or other people) pick up extra copies of any of the variants. This way you can see if I currently have you down for something and, if not, you can ask to get added onto the order.
You can still PM/Facebook message/text me with questions or whatever, but I needed some sort of list to keep everything straight and wanted to make that list publicly visible so you can also know what you've requested and so you can bug me if I forget to add you to an order or something.

Wow, the Simonson signature is pretty obvious now that you mention it, but you've got some darn good eyesight to make out Stan's signature!
P.S. thank you Kyle for compiling, organizing, and offering to get the variants for us! Your generosity never ceases to astound me! We are in your debt!

That is Walter's signature, of course, but mine is not on there. I signed the other, the Ragnarok, side of the art with my usual square. I am really happy with the way this turned out. Walter's and my style meshed pretty nicely.

Now that I zoom in, I see it's a date (3-31-19). It almost looked like "S. Sakai" to me before, but now that I've seen it's a date, it's obvious even zoomed out. I guess I was trying too hard.
Looks like there are two other variants... one from NEC featuring the Tick character. Currently listed on ebay for $9.99 and limited to 500 copies and a second reprinting the J. Scott Campbell artwork from the Sakai project not sure on edition size or price.

Little did I realize just how much this was going to cost when I decided to get them all.

Links please, so we don't have to go hunting...?
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...

J. Scott Campbell (Amazing Las Vegas Con exclusive?)
The description is a little vague, as it seems like the eBay seller is saying they'll buy them at Amazing Las Vegas Con, making this a reseller, which might explain the $45 price. I'm not sure if it's a convention exclusive or he just knows it'll be available there. I couldn't find anything else about it online. Comics & Ponies exclusive, will also come in black and white.

I believe the J Scott Campbell variant is through Comics & Ponies. They are usually at San Diego Comic-con. There will be a color and a B/W version of this.
Daniel offered to sell the Dogu (Julie's) Variant at the regular cover price to UY Dojo members, one per member. This special is only offered to Dojo members so please do not spread it around. Julie's cover is absolutely wonderful. If you like her art, you will LOVE what she did here. I'll post the art on my FB page in the coming days.
