2005 Conventions Schedule

Post by Winslow »

Does Stan know what 2005 conventions he will attend other than San Diego?

I'm in the Philadelphia area and would love to meet him if he attends Wizard World Philadelphia or any other conventions on the East Coast. I'm disappointed since I was unaware of Stan's attendance at last year's Anthrocon . . . oh well.

Usagi Yojimbo was the major influence in getting my son to read - so I owe Stan a debt of parental gratitude. :D

I will be at Anime North in Toronto during Memorial Day weekend. I think this takes place at the same time the Toronto comics festival.

I will be back at Anthrocon in Philadelphia at the beginning of July. My good friend Peter Laird, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the guest of honor, so I am using this as an excuse to attend the con even though it's the weekend before...

Comic-Con International: San Diego (aka San Diego Con). I will have my usual booth somewhere in the dealers room.

I am also scheduled to be at a comics festival in the Netherlands in August, and have been invited to a couple more cons in the US in the fall but have not yet committed to them.

This is great news!

You made my day Stan. Looking forward to meeting you in July!

My family has all 18 trades and Space Usagi, and I've pre-ordered # 19 from Amazon. We bought the Art of Usagi Yojimbo last month, and we really enjoy the quality of the publication.

And I'm serious when I tell you I'm thankful for your work in helping my son to get a passion for reading. Learning to read has been hard for him, but your work has inspired him to sit down and work through a trade. Now he reads quite well, and is above grade level.

BTW, let me know if there's anything I can do to support your work at Anthrocon.

awsome! when is anime north?

oh, and the reason I havent posted since 2004 is that I had to fix my internet (dial up), then I found out the high speed company would give me free internet if I let them put a dish on my roof for the entire area, and they havent done that, so I finally thougt I should just fix my dial up, so I did.

so hello everyone!
