I've never read his Green Lantern stuff. I liked him on Sojourn.... or maybe it was Greg Land's art that kept me around

I just received some books (Jack vance, Philip José Farmer, Y The Last Man) and inside there was the TPB of Samurai Heaven and Earth that i read immediatly.
I remember well, when i was a newbie here, Steve told me that i should read this comic (for obvious reasons), and i added the book to my wishlist.
One more time, i really want to thank you Steve
Samurai heaven and earth is a beautiful comic, every page is charming and this improbable meeting between samurai and mousquetaires du roi is really pleasant.

I read the book in the single issues and I thought it was very good. The artwork is simply beautiful.
Ron Marz is responsible for one of the greatest one off stories I've ever read in comics (Scion #26), and his storytelling in Samurai:Heaven and Earth was compelling.

I never touched it, because I assumed it would be a bastardized Western story. (By which I mean I thought it would not be true to the Japanese spirit, as it was written by a Westerner who would probably "Westernize" it intentionally and unintentionally.)
But perhaps I shall have to reconsider.

I read the first issue, but I just couldn't find it interesting. The plot seemed way too unoriginal.
