Are those supposed to be Mogura Ninja attacking Leo? That would be cool.

I have watched it several times, and I sure do believe that's them!

I was hoping Tomoe would make an appearance!

Tomoe will be in the episode, as well as those mogura ninja, Lord Noriyuki, Chizu and the neko ninja, and Lord Hebi. Oh yeah, Usagi and Gen will be there, too.

The original script also called for the bat ninja clan, but I guess they had to be cut for time.

The following episode will involve Leo and Usagi rescuing the other Turtles.

I am going to miss seeing next week's episode because...

...I will be IN Japan!

I find it ironically frustrating.
:P
Of the episodes this season, this is the one I have been wanting to see the most since I read the synopsis on the Mirage page.
At least a friend will be taping it. I'll see it when I get back.
:D

I'm quite sure I'll be having a great time in Japan, travelling with my iado sensei, his wife, and 10 other fellow sword students. Our sensei organized this trip and is our guide, he's been there many times. I'll be in the Tokyo area, and will also see Kamakura and Nikko. That's after we do two half days of training with our sensei's sensei. We're going to see a number of historical sites, as well as modern areas like the Ginza. Don't know if we will see cherry blossoms, but I know I won't see Usagi on TMNT until I get back home!
LOL!

I hope it's a great episode!

It sounds like a terrific trip. Tokyo is my favorite city in the world. The last time I was in Kamakura, I was 2 years old. But Sharon and I went to Nikko in 1998. It's a beautiful place. That is where Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first Tokugawa Shogun, is buried. That is where the three monkeys--see no evil, hear no evil, speak on evil--is carved.

I also hope you missed the earthquake.

We missed the earthquake because we are leaving on the 22nd, which as I write this, is tomorrow. That was a pretty serious earthquake....

On the happier side, I look forward to seeing these places. I hope to have some fun stories to share when I come back. I want to see those famous monkeys, and the other lovely carvings I have seen pictures of.
:D
Our trip is going to have a lot of history-focused interest to it, including some things referenced in Usagi Yojimbo.
I'm also looking forward to the food.

I hope everyone enjoys the cartoon with Usagi's next appearance, and all the other characters, too. I hope it's a good one!
I will have to avoid visiting these message boards until I've had a chance to see the episode after I get back.

We saw a lot of those monkeys. We later saw reports of them attacking people for food. It was a particularly harsh winter (like this year). They were also going up to a store and, when the automatic doors opened, would rush in and grab bags of food, then would run back out. Pretty smart.

Is it really worth it? I haven't tried watching it, I keep thinking of Sailor Moon and such when I see it--
