I guess this means that Usagi Yojimbo can now be marketed as a medicinal product :D

Do they give awards for best illustrated pain reliever? 8)

I used to run the half mile and mile on my high school track team. I also ran cross country. My daughter Hannah is on her high school team. She runs the 100 and 200 meters. She runs her final meet of the season tomorrow. She runs cross country in the fall.

When i was a kid i used to be a long distance runner, cross country and such. But my knees didnt develop right and the bone beneath the knee cap started to stick out which got painful and ended my running days.
Its fine now, still sticks out though (grr...)

Played soccer for the 1st time in a year yesterday, my legs were so stiff afterwards, need more exercise.

The other week, I requested the only 2 UY trades listed in my local library system's computer (from the next county over no less, my own library doesn't have any :( )

When the nice lady from the library called to inform me that the books had arrived for me to pick-up, she couldn't pronouce the title; she simply told me that 'the two graphic novels I had requested were in'.

I don't know whether to smile or be sad over that.

Ouch. None at all?? My library has half the series. "Shades of Grey", skip a few except "Brink of Life and Death", then start back up at "Grasscutter" and keep going. "Fathers and Sons" is on order THANK GOODNESS, but I'm 5th on the waiting list once it finally comes in.

I've had a similar experience, Hugegoat. I just sprained my ankle and spent the weekend enjoying Usagi books, many for the first time since I just found the books about a month ago. I've got all the ones I can get my hands on right now!! But, I'm still looking for someplace where I can buy them. I get the feeling they're not really available in stores near me. :?

BTW, I'm new around here. Hi all. :D

My library has none but the next town over has a bunch. But they're in this "Young Adult Center" that you're only allowed to use if your 13-17. Blatant age discrimination!!

I envy you all then. No, only two trades on a computer system that lists the contents of the libraries of three neighboring counties; they were Grasscutter (utterly fantastic, by far the best story I've read in a long time) and Duel at Kitanoji (which is great so far and I'm almost finished reading it)
