Pilgrim's Progress: The Anthropomorphic Version
I've been working on a new project that is my own interpretation of this classic tale. I will attempt to post a scene from it and a link to the first installment. I would welcome any comments from others. The link to the first few pages is http://www.andrewwales.com/PilgrimsProgress1.pdf

How do we go about ordering a copy or copies of this? I think it would work great as gifts for my nephews and my niece especially. Their parents would also probably love a change of pace from sword welding rabbits and brainless mendicants (then again, they were the ones who rewarded both my nephews with a real katana and wakizashi when they passed their Tai Kwon Do black belt tests). They are also, as a family, very active in their church.
I think they would really enjoy the artwork as well as the re-interpretation of the story. The story is not one of the relatively few "classical" novels that I've read, so I would probably end up reading it as well.
How far along is the project now? When do you think it will be back from the printers and ready to ship? Any deals on a subscription if it is planned as a multi-issue story?
Sorry for the late response, I have built-in blinders concerning comics which keep me focused on the couple titles and creators I enjoy and limits adding to my habbit, I mean, hobby.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Right now, what I have done is available for free on my website. I printed up a few copies which, I'm afraid to say would cost $2.00 to print and mail just those few six pages!
I'm sending copies of it around to various publishing companies. I would like to come up with a deal where I am just doing the drawing and writing. Let someone else print them and mail them!
I'll keep you posted. I'm not ready to offer subscriptions yet. I'm not sure how well I will be able to maintain a deadline for this in additioni to "paying work". But, in the meantime, if any body wants any hard copies write to me for them,
