It was in the Ginza district. However, this was about 6 years ago so their inventory has probably changed by now. But then, it could be devoted to more Miyazaki toys.Fanfan wrote:Is the toy store devoted to Totoro easy to find ? I think I will go there !
Ashitaka rode a red elk, named Yakule (my spelling propably way off).ziritrion wrote:AAAAAAAAARGH!!! I WANT A CATBUS BADLY!!!!! Natural sized, if possible.
And the Ashitaka's pet doll (what kind of animal is it supposed to be anyway?) also looks sweet. But pretty much anything coming from a Miyazaki movie is too cool. Even a stuffed Ohm from Nausicäa would rock my world ^_^ .
But the few imported stuffed dolls around here are very overpriced. Maybe I'll ask for one as a birthday present or something.
EDIT: I found out today that Howl's Moving Castle will soon arrive here! Has anyone see it? How good is it?

I believe the toy store is still there, at least as of 3 years ago (or so). My wife was on a courier trip to Japan, and your description sounds a lot like the store she described where she scored our Totoro toys, along with other strange Japanese stuffed animals (there's a seal disguised as a shark, for instance).Stan Sakai wrote:It was in the Ginza district.
