In UY #26 (Fantagraphics Books) the money booker looks (to me) like Gary from Gary's comics. Was he your model?
That story (The Duel) is just heartbreaking. Great storytelling. Thanks!

It's more like a little club house in the back yard, but it is as cluttered as the other store. It doesn't have electricity, so you have to use a flashlight to see what is new on the stands each week.Todd Shogun wrote:

Gary is even lower tech than I am. He still does not have internet access. He doesn't even have an telephone answering machine.
But I still go to him for my comic books.
