Anime Weekend Atlanta--what to bring?

It's a couple of weeks before Anime Weekend Atlanta. I know a few Dojo members are planning on attending. Is there anything you would like me to bring? Are you missing an issue or two to complete your collection? One of the trades collections? An UY action figure, or 2006 calendar, or cloisonne pin? How about an original cover art or one of those drawings that grace the backcovers? If there is something you would like, either post it here, or e-mail me.

The schedule they have given me is a fairly light one:

Friday 3pm--panel, then an autograph session in the Grand Ballroom

Saturday 6 pm--drawing workshop in the Ascot Room

I also plan to go to JapanFest held the same weekend. Other than that, I will be walking around the halls.

See you there,
Stan

Stan, you just made my cry.
I'm a grown man crying at work.

In a similar vein, will you be going to the Novi Comic Expo near Detroit MI this year?

The Motor City Convention? I have been a guest there a few times, but there are no plans for me to attend any time soon. It is a very nice show, and I enjoy it because there are many terrific artists, such as Guy Davis, who do not travel much outside that area. They also have one of the best guest hospitality rooms I have ever been to. The last time I was there, they even had three types of brownies. I enjoyed the jalapeno ones.

:D Wow cool!- Yay! Japan fest is soooo much fun! I went one year a few years back with my good friend Fumiko and her mom and dad and helped them set up their booth. it was so much fun!- Im sure, If yougo to japan fest, you'll have loads of fun! XD

Friday 3pm..Hmm....I have a feeling I wont be able to make it to that. I'v been having to redue my "how to get there" list, a cuple times, and some folks who were going to come with me are bailing out. Makes me nurvous I dont wanna go to AWA alone.

Im not to sure If I'll make it to the Autograph sesson, but if I make itwith good time on Friday, I will be in the Artists ally most of the time. Im sure though I can see you atthe workshop on Saturday though. That would be really nice! Iv not really done any of the activitys except do a voice over for an Anime XD that was pretty funny.

You asked what to bring? ......Gosh Im not good with that type of thing, at all...I dont have much usagi Y, things in general, but the cuple of comics that some of the board members had givin me XD....

There will be tones of Otaku fans there...Im nervous I wont even getto see you...because so many Guroos will get there before me XD hahaha!.....But really Im not good with asking...I would suggest whatever was in your best intrest ^_^

I'm off to the airport in an hour, so will be off the boards until Monday evening (unless I can get a wireless connection at the hotel).

I'll see some of you in Atlanta.

I'm back, and had a wonderful time at AWA. I even saw a few Dojo members--John H, Usagi, and Panda309. There may have been others, but they did not introduce themselves as Dojo members.

John and friends drove me to Japan Fest, but the thrill for me was seeing the Civil War Monument at Stone Mountain near where JF was taking place.

I'll be off to Seattle in a week for a series of presentations.
