Greetings James,
Interesting tht you should mention Panda Khan as I just sold my extra
issues of 1-4 at ConFurence 11.
From my copies here is some information about them.
The puiblisher is ABACUS Press and the title of the books is indeed
"the Chronicles of Panda Khan." The first issue is copyright February
1987 by Dave Garcia and Monica Sharp.
According to the first issues preface Panda Khan First appeared in
Richard Harris Fanzine "FANtasy" in 1983. Then appeared in "TYRO the
Interfan Showcase"(a fanzine?).
Issues 6-9 of WaRP Graphics' A Distant Soil(ADS) each had 8 pages of
The Chronicles of Panda Khan. ADS was cancelled before the series was
finished.
Since the ADS material was drawn with possible color reproduction n
mind the inking was kept simple with a minimum use of Zip-A-Tone. For
this reason Dave chose to redraw most of the material for the stand
alone The Chronicles of Panda Khan.
As for issues higher then number 4 I have not seen them. Issues 1-4
four were put out in a span of 3 years so it did not have a high
publishing rate. I do not know whether issues higher then 4 were
published.
Sincerely,
Michael Angel Peña(AKA Sparrow...A Rabbit)

Segments of Panda Kahn were pubished in an athology comic book titled
"Airlock", around 1987 and 1988. but since then nothing was heard of PK nor
"Airlock" and the company that produced the comic series.
