I was so happy to finally have Usagi and Gen standing side by side on my shelf that I started thinking that they need so company so I bought up a bunch of TMNT figures off of ebay to use as bases for some custom figures from Usagi's world...

So my question is this, has anyone else made custom Usagi figures and if so which ones and where can we see them???

Custom Usagi figures? From TMNTs bases? How do you mean?

I have Usagi and Gen. And the 90's Usagi. I'm trying to get ahold of Space Usagi as well. Net easy in the UK... I was wondering if I should get Leonardo...

What has everyone else got? Any TMNTs?

Take one figure and modify it into other figures kind of like this guy does with superhero stuff...

There is an entire subculture of custom Lego crafting. David Oakes did an Usagi that was printed on the back cover of one of the UY comics. Here's a link to a photo of Usagi, Groo and Grendel.

While you're there, check out the other Lego designs.

The wolf dude from Thundercats could easily become a Niko Ninja from the Dragon Bellows Conspiracy. You'd need to transpose his head onto a smooth body in order to paint on the robe, though. Maybe you could get his head on that Transformable Shredder from the new TMNT series.

Unfortunately, Neko ninja are cats, not wolves...

actually I looked him up on a thundercats site, and even though it is a wolf charectar with a little sculpting putty he might turn into a good Ninja... the trick would be for me to find a loose one at a good price... guess I need to go start checking out ebay some more...

I think my first usagi custom attempt is going to be to try to turn this:

into this:

going to take a little bit of sculpting but what the heck I have time on my hands...

It'll be rough changing the horns and removing evidence of the helmet. That figure came in two variations: a soft rubber head and a hard plastic one. The plastic one would probably be easier to file down and build up again.

I have in my inbox pics of two custom figures of Usagi and Raphel a fan has sent in, I haven't had a chance to post them on the board yet...but if anybody has any customs they want to share, Rabbit Bodyguards is welcome to showcase them in!
