Tengu in UY

Ohayo UYites(?), Thank you for creating this fantastic website and community. I have been a Lurker off and on for years before I became a memeber.
Right, to the question. I am having trouble finding any encounters between our hero Usagi and a Tengu.
Where can I find it?

When will we see such a story?
I recently completed by UY TPB Collections and then Volume 20 came out. I also plan on aquiring
"The Art Of Usagi Yojimbo" and "UY: Monsters!" by Gold Rush Games.

You can find it in Usagi book 18, "Travels with Jotaro". It's a great story and one of my favorites!

Yes, 'fictional' Tengu appears in Color Special #2.
I think this story is connected with "Sumi-E" story arc. Am I in error?

No error.
"Sumi-E" is a prequel to the story "The Doors" which was published in the Usagi Yojimbo Color Special #2 way back in September 1991 by Fantagraphics Books and , so far, never reprinted in a trade collection yet.
The question now is how closely does the story "The Doors" follow after "Sumi-E" and when will "The Doors" finally be included in a book?

I´m still in Spain, and don´t have access to my Usagi book map, but I think we´re looking at UY Book 22: Tomoe´s Story. The first story in that book will be Color Special #1, picking up immediately where Treasure of the Mother of Mountains ends. Then Color Special #3, followed by Color Special #2 the Doors.
We´re probably looking at a spring ´08 release.
