Anyone read issue 92 yet?
Of course it was excellent. I loved the cover. Is it me or does Usagi look slightly cocky? Like he's got something planned but you have no idea what?

Plus the interaction between Tomoe and Kitsune was brilliant!

Another excellent issue.

Well hey look here...a review of Usagi #92 at Comixtreme!

I think Stan should tank an issue just once...just make it so gawdawful so we'd appreciate the series a bit more.

Something in the letter's page of 92 scares me more than a little...

Stan answered a question about marriage posed by a reader...he replied that Tomoe's marriage was already in the works...

Oh, oh...all this time, I was thinking (hoping really) that it was all a ruse or dream or anything...but if this keeps up, well its going to be a sad time around here for a while.

Damn, I love this book!!!!

93 looks like it might be the last time Usagi will be in the Geishu province, or see Tomoe again for that matter :(

Awwww...

He'll see her again perhaps in a few years, whereupon she'll introduce him to her son, Usagi.

Serious or a speculation?

Speculation I would say.

Not that she has a child. That may very well indeed happen.

But I doubt the father would approve of the child being named Usagi.

I definitely am interested in seeing how Tomoe's marriage plays out.

Yeah; and he might not like the idea of her seeing Usagi, even as just a friend...

Yes it was speculation. Just a thought for Stan to ponder perhaps.

Oh I know the husband would never approve of this dirty medicant ronin, one who happens to have a previous relationship with his wife, showing up at his door.

All I have to say is, "Stan say it ain't so!!" I mean first Mariko, now Tomoe??? RYAAAUGGGHHHH!!! How much can this poor guy take? And just when things were getting good too... How can Usagi return to the Geishu province and have more adventures with Tomoe if she's married to an overgrown beaver??

Somehow, I don't think Tomoe's going to take the marriage news very well. She's done her best to embrace the customs and rules of her class for the sake of the better good, but now this really is going too far. I've got a feeling things are going to get REALLY ugly, REALLY fast...

What I can't get is how Stan is going to pull everything off in issue 93 (assuming 93 is where the current Usagi/Geishu storyline ends...and I'm fairly sure it does). Obviously Tomoe Ame won't get married immediately, and maybe Usagi doesn't even find out. I've yet to read 92, being on the other side of the country at the moment and away from my mailbox, so I don't know how that story plays out. I wonder how far we're going to actually get into this Tomoe marriage thing. What really gets me wondering is Editor Diana's take on the story...
And… cut to a week later: When I wrote the above, a week ago, I hadn’t yet read “Chanoyu,” in Usagi #93. And as much as Fathers and Sons remains my favorite story line, “Chanoyu” has bumped the last issue of that story arc (Usagi #75) out of first place as my favorite single issue. Issue #93 will see print in April, and it’s the story of a Japanese tea ceremony, “Chanoyu,” in which Usagi and Tomoe are the participants. It’s also a story of parting. Stan handles the tale with impressive restraint, and yet very powerful emotions bubble just beneath the surface. It brought me to tears, and shortly after I foisted it on her just to read, it brought our proofreader, Rachel Miller, to tears also.
Man!!

Bought it. Read it. Kitsune was in it, so I loved it! Can't wait for the next one!

Oh yeah...what's going to happen next is going break the internet in half...well, at least as Usagi is concerned.
