I commissioned this sketch from Sergio at last years Megacon.

Yes he does. That's what makes it so funny to me.steve wrote:Kind of looks like the trick's cereal rabbit dressed up like Usagi...
That's a terrific drawing. I really like the way he portrays Usagi. Incidentally, that Usagi drawing from Albedo is in my collection of Sergio drawings along with many others. For awhile, before e-mail and faxes, we had to send stuff by mail. I would sketch a drawing of Usagi and Groo on the envelope. His return envelope had them fighting. I sent back one with Usagi decapitating Groo. He sent one with Usagi walking away, cleaning his sword with Groo's head on the ground with a quizzical expression. I also have a bunch drawn on napkins, sketch paper, etc.steve wrote:Kind of looks like the trick's cereal rabbit dressed up like Usagi... Sergio did a better drawing way back in Albedo #3 (4 ?)... Still a very nice addition to anybody's collection who likes both Groo and Usagi... Speaking of Sergio, any word on the Usagi / Catnippon story that was mentioned several years ago? I've been meaning to ask about that for quite some time...
That would be great if you could scan those in sometime.Stan Sakai wrote:I would sketch a drawing of Usagi and Groo on the envelope. His return envelope had them fighting. By all means, post that Daruma piece. It's a fun little drawing.Glennosuke wrote:Indeed! Those would be classics to see on the board if you didn't mind Stan! I would be willing to share my "daruma usagi" on the envelope you gave me!
If you can scan them in, then you can send me or Todd the raw scans and we'll integrate them into the website (incl. scaling, cropping, sharpening, etc).Stan Sakai wrote:Also, how does one go about posting pictures here? Remember, I'm someone who can barely send e-mail.
