The deadly Koroshi League of Assassins is back-and its longstanding grudge against our favorite rabbit ronin is far from forgotten! This is especially true for Saiko, the swift and beautiful young murderer whose father and partners were killed by Usagi, Katsuichi-sensei, and Jotaro in the landmark issue #75. Usagi, fresh from his stay in the friendly Geishu Province, again runs afoul of Saiko by attempting to prevent her latest contract. But when he tries to protect the life of a prominent local merchant, Saiko takes the man's young daughter hostage! It's a life-and-death standoff . . . will the long-eared samurai prevail by sacrificing an innocent, or will he allow this homicidal up-and-comer to escape, free to continue carving her bloody path through feudal Japan? Find out this month, in Usagi Yojmbo!

• Stan Sakai has won multiple Eisner Awards, a 2004 Young Adult Library Services award, a Parents' Choice Award, a "Lifetime Achievement" Inkpot Award, and the prestigious National Cartoonists Society Comic Book Division Reuben Award.

(These previews really make you wonder what a daughter of Usagi would grow up to become. As carefree and friendly as Kitsune acts, but as skilled with a sword as Inazuma  )

Usagi and kids...it never gets old :)

Was Hanako a popular name in Feudal Japan? There was another character by that name in the Daisho storyline.

When will this be out in stores?

"Hana-ko" means "Flower Child" or, with different kanji, "Nose Child". The latter is not as popular.

It comes out at the end of June.

Oh, one other question estee.

I love your banner. Is it ok with you if I steal it for other message boards?

Sure. Go ahead. If it helps spread the word that there are more comics than just Marvel and DC, I'm all for it. 8)

#94 was superb. :D

I was just wondering though, who were Saiko's parents from Fathers and Sons? Which chapter were they in?

EDIT: Nevermind. I think I discovered the answer. Was it from "Hokashi"?
